Registration is easy and happens at any iPad station at the entrance to the GV Kids area. Our GV Kids leaders are happy to help if you need it.
Every child is checked in at a GV Kids iPad. Sign-in opens 30 minutes before any scheduled service, and pickup is right after the service ends.
Yes. Every leader and volunteer completes a state and federal background check and goes through an onboarding process for their area of ministry. Our teams also receive ongoing training, so every child and family is in a safe, caring environment.
Please tell us at check-in about any allergies or special behavioral needs, and let the classroom teacher know as well, so we can care for your child well. Because of food sensitivities, we ask that outside foods not be brought in — we serve a simple snack in nursery and preschool, and occasionally in elementary.
At sign-in you provide your cell number. The teacher in the room will text you through the check-in system to come for your child. If we can't reach you, our First Impressions Team will do their best to find you.
Absolutely. We have a Mother's Room with comfortable rocking chairs that you're welcome to use anytime.
To keep everyone healthy, children should be symptom-free and fever-free for at least 24 hours — free of fever, vomiting, or other signs of contagious illness — before attending any level of GV Kids.

Child Dedications

Dedicate your little one.

A meaningful step where you commit to raising your child to know and follow Jesus — surrounded by a church family that will support and walk with you. From the start, we're here to help build a strong spiritual foundation, together.

No. We believe a child should be old enough to understand what it means to put their faith in Jesus before they're baptized. Child Dedication is a chance for you, as parents, to publicly declare that you want to raise your child to develop their own relationship with Jesus.
Parents dedicating a child at GraceValley should be attending regularly and engaged in the life of the church.
Dedications happen in the main sanctuary during the Sunday Worship Experience. There's no limit on the number of dedications in a service, so once you register, your spot is guaranteed — we'll reach out the week before to confirm details.
It's about 10 minutes per family. You'll come to the front, and while facing the speaker, you'll be asked a simple question affirming your commitment to raise your child according to God's Word — a simple "Yes" is all that's needed. Then our church family stands to commit to support and pray for you, a prayer is offered over your family, and each child receives a special, age-appropriate gift.
Wear whatever you and your little one feel most comfortable in — some dress casually, others dress up. Please arrive 30 minutes before the service and sit near the front center for easy access to the platform. Invite friends and family! Our Capture Team photographs each dedication (posted to Facebook within 24–48 hours), and the service streams live so loved ones can celebrate from anywhere.
